What’s the full process of working with you?
It all starts with an inquiry through my website, followed by a relaxed discovery call where we get to know each other, discuss your brand, and see if we're a good fit. Once you're ready to book, we'll choose your session date (typically 6–12 weeks out), and you'll receive access to your client portal to complete your contract, retainer, and questionnaire.
From there, we'll plan every detail together. We’ll do a deep dive of brand strategy and shot list to locations, wardrobe, and props. I want you to feel fully prepared before session day. My goal is to make the experience fun, organized, and stress-free, even if being in front of the camera feels intimidating.
Soon after your session, you'll receive a few sneak peeks, and then your fully edited gallery will be delivered within three weeks, ready to help you confidently show up in your business.
What if I’m nervous and not very good in front of the camera?
You're certainly not alone.
Most of my clients feel this way (and honestly, I do too when I'm the one being photographed!). That's exactly why I've created a guided experience from start to finish. We spend time planning your session beforehand, so by the time shoot day arrives, you know what to expect and we've already built a connection.
During your session, I'll direct you every step of the way with prompts, movement, and encouragement so you never have to wonder what to do. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and most importantly, like yourself.
Most of my clients end up having way more fun than they thought they would.

Once you've decided to move forward, we'll choose your session date during our discovery call and select the package that best fits your needs. I'll then send you a link to your client portal where you can sign your contract and pay your 50% non-refundable (but transferable due to weather) retainer via Stripe or Venmo to officially reserve your date. The remaining balance is due on or before your session day. If weather requires us to reschedule, your retainer will be transferred to your new session date.

It happens! It can be a big disappointment, but we will find a time to reschedule. And while I have been known to get out there in the pouring rain to make it happen, I will typically communicate with you at a reasonable time before you’ve gotten yourself all session ready and we can make the call together. Your retainer will be credited towards the rescheduled date.

Let’s chat about that. I LOVE staying local to Asheville and within about an hour radius, but I’m open to hearing about a session that would require further travel. I do not market myself outside of the WNC area, but if it’s a good fit and an intriguing invitation that aligns with my values, I may just be up for it. I would love it if you asked!

I do! As long as they are respectful of the feminine, bold, playful energy I bring to my branding, my sessions and my personality, then absolutely I will work with men. While they may not be my market audience, I am thrilled to work with any brand who’s wanting to tell their visual story in a meaningful, creative, aligned and elevated way.

After I am done editing your images I will deliver them via a link to your online gallery. You can download your images in both full resolution and web size. Web size is preferable for sharing on socials. I ask that you have them fully downloaded within a month as I need to make space on my delivery platform for incoming sessions.

Listen, this is not the Arise Images show. This is about you and YOUR brand. While I absolutely love a tag, a shout out or even a well aligned collaboration on Insta, I do not require you to give me credit. Would I love it if you mentioned that your website branding images are from Arise Images? I would adore it! Heck, throw in a link to my website and you’ll be my favorite. However, when you get your gallery there will not be a watermark on any of your images. Usage and ownership is outlined in my contract.

I don’t. Editing is a huge part of my craft! I hand edit each image and pour a lot of time and skill into making sure each image is edited with intentionality. If you like what you see on my website and on my Instagram you can be sure to receive images that are consistent with the style you see. My editing tends to be close to true to color with a slight vibrance added to colors and a slight boost in contrast. I do take requests for editing that match a brand’s style/vibe but that must be discussed before our session and agreed upon during our strategy call.

I do use AI assisted editing tools as part of my workflow. It helps me to speed up routine edits like cleaning up background distractions (like outlets and garbage cans), smoothing skin, and removing temporary blemishes like acne or bruising. I will sometimes remove larger items from an image like a rug or items on a table if I feel it enhances the image. What I will not do is change your body shape, facial features or create a more unrealistic version of you. There’s already so much out there telling us to alter our bodies and that does not align with me! I love capturing us as beautiful, messy humans. My editing style is polished but natural and intentionally designed to help you look your best self, not a version of you for online consumption. I work hard before and during our session to find clothing, posing and movements that help you look and feel like the beautiful bad ass you are.
